MONITOOL Project Final Conference (2023)

After 6 years of project work, the MONITOOL Consortium held its final hybrid conference in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) on 19 May 2023. Previously, in 2021, during the pandemic, there had already been an on line 1st Conference in which all the results achieved by the MONITOOL project were presented in detail. Therefore, this 2nd Conference was approached in a different way to make it more enjoyable and dynamic.

The MONITOOL results were presented in a condensed form in a single presentation to allow attention to focus primarily on 10 short talks (of no more than 20 min) given by a several experts on the subject. Most of these presentations showed in detail practical experiences and concrete case studies where passive sampler devices have been successfully used. Towards the middle of the event, there was a short break in which the most interesting videos made within the framework of the project were broadcasted online.

The event attracted a considerable audience on site, 49 participants, coming from different sectors such as academia, research, public environmental management, etc. There were also 55 online participants from many different countries and continents. Everyone had the opportunity to participate in the open debate that took place in the last part of the event.

The entire Final Conference was recorded on video, so if you missed anything or want to watch a specific presentation/excerpt again, just click on the links below:
